Just Love Coffee is more than your average coffee shop. This coffee shop provides an ambience that any college student would be comfortable studying in. Not only that, but Just Love is also the perfect neutral spot to meet up with prospective employers as well as the opportunity to host local bands.

I first found out about Just Love driving on my way to school. It’s really close to LSSC’s South Lake Campus as it’s a 6–8-minute drive depending on traffic from campus. Comparably, the local Starbucks is right across the street from campus, but the drinks are costly, and the ambience is lackluster. This isn’t bashing the chain restaurant, but I think it’s better off to drive a little further to find a cozier study space that is more in the price range of a college student.
Just Love Coffee has a couple of TVs with various content playing. One TV consistently has Bob Ross painting while the other TV varies from news to cartoons. If you find that the inside seems too distracting as they also have music playing, Just Love offers outdoor seating. So as the weather cools down, you could grab a drink or snack and enjoy the fresh air as you study for your next exam or just need to catch up on your homework.
A benefit of this café is that they extend their hours during the fall season from 4pm-5pm on weekdays while they still close at 4pm on Sundays. So, as college students are finding their reigns at this start of the school year, they can rely on Just Love Coffee to be there to support them on some later study days.
Also, Just Love Coffee just pushed out their fall menu where you can try REAL Pumpkin Latte as well as some signature drinks such as the Candy Apple Refresher, Boba Boo Blast refresher, Graveyard Frappe, and Lumberjack Latte. You can try both lattes either hot or cold, which is a great option when you live in Florida, and it still is 90 degrees in October.
Just Love Coffee is where I found the local band Lowdive. They play at Just Love Coffee every few months but hope to play monthly like they do at the Clermont Oyster Bar. Lowdive also plays at local Orlando bars such as Grumpy’s Underground and Bynx Orlando. Just Love is a smaller location so Lowdive’s sound fills the room, but they play rock and roll and the band only has a couple songs to their name and their following is also small but as they play these local gigs, they will surely reach the top of the charts.
All in all, Just Love Coffee is a place of opportunity. A place to study, to lock in and focus. While you are there, you can grab a signature drink and snack such as their Riptide refresher, and their famous Nutella stuffed waffles or Nana’s cinnamon rolls. Just Love Coffee is the perfect third space (informal gather spot) for college students, if they need to study or just hang out with friends without breaking the bank.
So, if you’re looking for your new local third space, I recommend Just Love Coffee because you can smile and laugh in peace with no judgment as everyone there has the same purpose, to catch some sick vibes.
